All of the fabrics in this quilt were patriotic either by color or print.
What a great idea for a backing. She took a width of the zigzag stripe and made it big enough by adding contrasting fabric on either side. I really like this treatment.
Sometimes, we forget that there are needs for quilts that are more feminine. There are a lots of females serving and in harm's way also.
The back....where on earth was my lint roller??
