Fall of 2009

This is an African fabric quilt I made for a special friend of my daughter's.  The brightly colored fabrics are African Wax Prints.
Spirals, diamonds, serpentine and ferns.
The back is a cotton reproduction of Kente Cloth.

Heading back out West . . .

This was made for our oldest son and his wife for Christmas.  I just got it quilted.  Christmas gifts on Valentine's Day?  Yes, but it's still waiting for delivery--at the rate I am going, I hope they get to put it on their bed by Easter!
This was the first time I used a Fat Back and I loved not having to piece the backing!
Close ups of center panel.

This is actually a cross between a bedspread and a comforter.  Here it is, resting on a queen sized bed in my home.  This little bedroom is not big enough to stand inside and take a photo from the bottom of the bed, but you get the idea!
