Quilting Services

BunkHouse Quilts no longer accepts customer quilts.

After much thought I have decided it is time to be able to sew and quilt all the projects I have wanted to do and not had time.

I would like to thank all the wonderful customers over the past 7 years that allowed me to quilt their beautiful, cute, interesting, amazing and otherwise very special creations!

You will continue to see several customer quilts that I still have here to finish . .  a dozen or so.

See that top shelf?  Those are mine.  There are about 30 quilt projects up there, some have been waiting for 10 years.

I will continue to quilt for family and a few select friends so you will still see lots of quilts here.

In addition, I am very excited to have more time to volunteer to quilt for Quilts of Valor.

  1. Ann, I was so surprised to hear that you had moved...and to Ohio no less. I will miss very much having you as a machine quilter. your work is absolutely gorgeous, but I understand the problem. I am deep in the throws of Quilts of Valor this year, almost exclusively.
My husband, Eddie, died of pancreatic cancer in Dec. We found out last June, so it was quite fast no matter what we tried. It's been harder than I ever imagined it could be but being involved with quilts of Valor and so many good friends (and kids), I am getting a little better.
Wishing you lots of luck getting all those quilts done. It was good to read about your trip to Montana.
    Keep in touch.

  2. My sister in North Dakota told me today that you were not accepting any more customer quilts. While I am sad that she will not see your beautiful work on her quilts, I understand completely.

Enjoy working on your UFOs. Hopefully, you can teach one or more of your grandchildren how to use the longarm. Wouldn't that be fun!

  3. I realize I'm a day late and a dollar short, as the saying goes, but I just found your blog after your post on APQS. What prompted you to stop? I have so many projects to be done, yet the customer quilts just keep coming. I often think of quitting, but haven't gotten to that point yet.

Based on that Modern DWR, you certainly haven't lost your touch!! Its beautiful!!

  6. Dear RichlyBlessed....since you are a "no reply" blogger (which means I can't reply to your email message or contact you through your blog) I will have to hope that you check back here to see this message. I got the Hereford fabric from Marshall's Dry Goods...online. I hope they still have it as I bought mine several years ago. Good Luck!
