Joining for Jace

This sweet quilt "Bubbly Babies" by Annie Unrein was a kit that has been hiding in my stash for a couple of years! I was sorting through my fabrics and found this tucked way back in the corner. I think it was waiting for just the right event!
I made this for a Benefit Auction for a little boy named Jace.  We have known his extended family for over 40 years.

You can read all about him over at Joining for Jace.

You can't see it in the pictures, but the white blocks are printed with white-on-white stars.

I used "Texture Magic" in this quilt and you can read about it here.
I hope this quilt will be unusual enough to give the auction a nice little boost.

The top is all cotton and the back is yummy soft flannel.

  1. What a cute quilt and love that texture. Jace's story is so touching. Having a child with special needs is hard on a family and financial needs, believe me I know. You are such a giving person. I appreciate so much the quilt you made for 100 Quilts for Kids in honor of my Stevie. I don't have time to make or send something for the auction but I am going over to Jace's site and making a donation. Such a sweet boy, and those eyes.... Have a good fundraiser!!
