You might remember it:
The 16 patch blocks were scrappy colors, the X blocks were mostly neutral.
Well, what if I reversed the color concept and made the blocks like this?
Scrappy neutrals for the 16 patch and scrappy colored piecing for the X blocks....
I just finished all the blocks last night and this is what I ended up with:
