One Monthly Goal

This is my April Goal

I am making another Arkansas Crossroad quilt.
This is my scrappy one I made about a month ago.

This time I plan to reverse the colored blocks and the background, so the  negative space will become the main color.

Here's my prototype scrappy block.

It is the same block in the last quilt except the "X" is pieced instead of white.

Here it is in front of the 2-way mirror to give you an idea where this is headed.

 So, all the X blocks will be pieced in blues, yellows, reds, greens, purples and oranges. All the 12 patches will be neutral.

I'm using all the fabrics from my scrap bins and my fat quarter stash and my goal is to get the top made.
