Cross Stitch Bears

I started on this a couple of nights ago.  We are so busy with summer work and all things yard and garden, I have not even been in my studio for about a month!

My client is very talented with her needle.  Her embroidery is perfect.

After quilting all the designs, I decided to put a simple crosshatch in the background of each "block."

I still have not decided what I will do in the outer borders, I do know that I will change thread in the brown border.  I have to come up with an idea that will work with that flange in the white border.
